About Those Trade Rumors
In a victory (115-111, OT) over the Knicks today, Rajon Rondo compiled the following stat line: 18 points, 17 rebounds, and 20 assists. That's ridiculous. To think, Danny Ainge has been shopping his point guard for trade deals.
Some perspective - only the 3rd player in NBA history to record 15, 15, and 20. Other 2? Wilt and Oscar.
Also, Rondo has 4 triple-doubles this season ... nobody else has more than 1. The fact that anyone still refers to the Boston players as the "Big 3" is insulting ... unless, of course, Rondo is one of them and Allen is no longer part of the group.
